In this talk, Eve L. Ewing will share initial work on Public Schools| Public Knowledge, a free online research database that enables educators to access summaries of high-quality scholarship pertaining to public schools.

Eve Ewing is Associate Professor in the Department of Rance, Diaspora and Indigeneity at the University of Chicago. Professor Ewing draws upon empirical evidence, archival sources, and artistic production to construct a critical imaginary theorizing Black life in the United States at the intersections of history and possibility, with a particular interest in the lives of young people and in schools as sites of ideological production. Learn more about her work here.
