William Nickell is a recipient of the Faculty Research Grant for 2019-21. His project, “The Production of Knowledge in the USSR,” examines the production of public knowledge within the Soviet Union. William aims to analyze the organization of science and information under Marxist regimes and explore connections between these and Soviet academic successes.
